Build Your Best Swing This Season

Book Golf Lessons at Rick Zurak Golf

We offer free lessons Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm on the front lawn of our store. The lessons are open to all ages. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length. You must call and make an appointment the day you are available for lessons. Call midday and pick a time: 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30. We can take 3 people at 1 time, and all you need is a wedge for your first lesson. If you don't have a wedge, we will provide one.

What to Expect When You Book

Your session begins with a brief discussion of your current skill level, recent challenges, and what you want to improve. You'll work through drills that address fundamentals like grip pressure, stance width, and alignment to the target. Each half-hour lesson is structured to maximize repetition and feedback, so you leave with clear takeaways and practice steps.

Rick Zurak Golf tailors instruction to match your pace and preferred learning method. Lessons are available for beginners to advanced players, open to all ages. Whether you're working on distance control with wedges or building a repeatable driver swing, you'll receive hands-on guidance that fits your goals.

Call ahead to schedule your preferred time, or join the free Tuesday evening sessions to practice alongside other golfers from Buffalo, and Amherst. Every session includes technique correction, swing analysis, and short-game coaching to help you lower your scores and play with greater confidence.

Key Benefits of This Service

Golfers in Buffalo often have questions about lesson formats, scheduling flexibility, and what to bring. Below are answers to the most common inquiries to help you prepare for your first session.

How long is each lesson?
Each session lasts thirty minutes, giving you focused time to work on specific aspects of your game without overwhelming your schedule. You can book multiple sessions or attend weekly to build consistency.
Can I take lessons if I've never played before?
Absolutely. Instruction is open to all ages and skill levels, including complete beginners. You'll start with grip, stance, and basic swing mechanics before moving to more advanced techniques.
What should I bring to my lesson?
Bring your clubs, comfortable clothing, and any gloves or tees you normally use. If you don't have equipment yet, ask about recommendations during your first session.
Are group lessons available?
Yes. Small-group formats are offered for golfers who prefer learning alongside friends or family. These sessions maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure personalized feedback.
